Latest Mehndi Designs

 The Steps To Apply Mehndi:

  1. Make a smooth henna paste by sifting the dry henna powder to remove any debris and adding to it a hot mixture of tea or coffee and mustard oil until it has a mud-like firmness.

  2.  After the paste is ready take a plastic cone with a very fine key-hole at the end. Pour the paste into the cone and tie the broader end with a rubber band.

  3. Hold the cone in the right hand and gently squeeze the paste on the palm and start making patterns.

  4. Keep the palm horizontal and let the patterned-paste rest on it till dry.

  5. Warm it near the fire and leave it on for as long as it takes to get the stains deeper.

  6. When it is almost dry, dab a piece of cotton in sugar and lemon solution and apply lightly on the designs so it further darkens to a reddish-brown hue that can last for weeks.

  7. After 2-4 hours wash off the hands with plain water.

Fashion boutiques...

The term entered into everyday English use in the late 1960s when, for a brief period, London was the centre of the fashion trade. Carnaby Street and the Kings Road were the focus of much media attention as home to the most fashionable boutiques of the era.

It can also refer to a specialised firm such as a boutique investment bank or boutique law firm. The word is often used to describe a property in the independent section of the hotel market (such as The Rockwell in London) in order to distinguish themselves from larger chains (such as Hilton Hotels). In such cases the establishments aim to convey the idea that the operation is elite and highly specialised.Fashion is a huge industry in India. With globalization Indian Fashion has got a wider platform to display their talents and introduce the 'Sari' to the world. India was always known as a country of jungles, snakes and poverty. But this has changed over the last decade. One of the reasons of India competing in the race among the leading countries of the world is because of its sudden burst of fashion exposure - both within and beyond the country.
India is a diverse nation and does not have one particular style to call its own. However, fashion in India placed itself on the map creating its own unique identity of FUSION - the beautiful blend and combination od various dressing styles in the country. Right from the traditional salwar kameez or sarees to churidars, kurtis, the semi formal way of wearing it over trousers or jeans, capris and the higly elegant and contemporary style of draping sarees, from simply cotton blouses to halter-neck, puffed sleeves, deep necks, and lycra-fitted blouses. Apart from regional attires, the Bollywood element also holds a domineering part in Indian Fashion style.

Fashion model size..

Studies show that women tend to respond more positively to products advertised on thinner fashion models. However, designers in Spain in 2006 made a clear statement by setting minimum weight and BMI requirements for models.

Another disadvantage of becoming too thin is that it puts the person at increased risk of injury. Thanks to fashion models and other famous people, many people believe that getting extremely skinny is healthy.
Many people decry the very thin fashion models, commonly seen treading the catwalk or in photo displays. Thin fashion models are in, which many think has a negative impact on the body image of all women, and especially young girls. Most designers clearly state that clothes hang better on thin fashion models. Yet if we look at models from the 1950s or earlier, they didn’t appear to suffer from lack of beauty due to a slightly fuller figure.
In 1960, average fashion models were about 5’7” (1.7m) and weighed approximately 129 pounds (58.51 kg). Currently average fashion models are two inches taller and weigh about 114 pounds (51.7 kg). While fashion models from the 1960s had a healthy body mass index (BMI), this trend would soon change with a British model named Twiggy. Suddenly thin became sensational, with a 91-pound Twiggy leading the charge.
In the 1980s, however, models like Christie Brinkley and Cindy Crawford had a slightly healthier BMI, but the 1990s resurrected the Twiggy-like model with "heroin chic" styles. The goal seemed to be to duplicate the look of those in the last throes of heroin addiction. Most fashion models of the 1990s and 2000s have a weight that is considered unhealthy for their height.
